Garnier Fructis Citrus Mint Product Review

Remember I mentioned this earlier? Let’s talk about it some more.

My roommate was using this for a while, but stopped because her boyfriend didn’t like the minty smell, so she had me help her finish off the bottles of shampoo and conditioner. Personally, I am in love with the smell, as is my boyfriend. I had to stop using Garnier’s products a while ago because they were too damaging to my hair. But what I didn’t know until just recently was that they removed the silicones and parabens! I was stoked.

Garnier Fructis Citrus Mint

This product is great for oily hair, to begin with. I have a lot of trouble with oily everything, my body just hates me! Even though I shampoo twice every time I shower, I can feel almost all of the oils gone from my hair after just one, and it immediately feels lighter than with any shampoo I have ever used. After the second my hair is silky smooth and honestly, I don’t need to use conditioner, but I do anyway! The conditioner makes my hair super soft and amazingly, after a day or two, my hair doesn’t look greasy. I can’t use conditioners due to the fact that by day two my hair looks like a grease factory, so I used to substitute for oils or serums.

My boyfriend used just the shampoo and his thick, coarse hair was so soft when it dried. Honestly, I’ve never used a shampoo that feels quite like this. The smell is invigorating and is a great way to wake yourself up in the morning, and boy does it last! My hair looks and feels soft and shiny and I haven’t had frizz problems like I usually do when my hair grows out.

To sum it all up, I’m a pretty happy camper. When you consider cost and result, it is definitely worth your time and money. It works better than a lot of natural products that I have used and I love it even more than the Green shampoo they had released a few years ago, which didn’t give me remotely similar results. I’m sold, and I’m going to be using this from now on!
